Growing in Jersey City has teamed up with It's All Love USA run by DJ Marvilous to bring you a fundraiser to celebrate the summer, raise money for local charities, and thank Chris Christie for shutting the New Jersey Government down over July 4th. The fabulous BUBBALA will be emcee the day with lots of jokes and pizzaz and a whole lot of sass.
We are working on finding a drug program (TBD) because that is the reason the government was shut down and we do want to support the #1 rising drug issue in the country.
So how are we celebrating?
Dj Marvelous will be bringing the party all afternoon
$5 food specials
$5 rotating drink specials
Free-$10 services to help us get through this political atmosphere
Two free meditations from Sattva Yoga
$5 ear acupressure and essential oils from Beth Conroy
$10 10 minute chair massages from Loosen Up Jc
We are looking for bands, performers, spoken word, singers, etc.
Please email Dj Marvelous at marcus.malloy@gmail.com if you are interested.
Who is involved:

It's All Love was created with just that, love. We are an organization that has a love for Jersey City and the people we share it with. We strive to bring events to the community that are welcoming to all. Giving people the chance to get to know each other better while educating them on charitable local organizations. As a Dj, I strive to use my network and event production experience in a positive and charitable way.
Let's learn a little about the charities this fundraiser is benefiting:
WomenRising assists women and their families from crisis to self-sufficiency. We aim to assure that women in Hudson County live safe, productive and fulfilling lives through our four core programs, Domestic Violence Services, Youth and Family Services, Permanent Supportive Housing, and Community and Workforce Development, as well as advocacy for our clients.
York Street Project's mission is to weave innovative programs that shelter, feed, educate and promote the healing and independence of persons in need, especially women and their children. They have four programs - The Nuturing Place, St. Joseph's Home, Kenmare High School, St. Mary's Residency.
